Jesus in the Psalms

Psalms that speak about Jesus the Messiah are called "Messianic Psalms". There are many passages and prophecies about Jesus. Jesus said, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." (Luke 24:44)

David was the author of many Psalms wrote by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, was called "a prophet" by Peter in Acts 2 and was also a type of Christ while being persecuted and entering his righteous reign as King. David also served as an example for Christians, though he was a man after God's own heart he fell into sin, repented and recieved the blessings of forgiveness being justified by faith.

In these messages we are focusing on how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies about his life, death and resurrection in his first coming and how he will fulfill the prophecies about his future reign on earth in His second coming.
